       said John Hardman William Whalley and Christopher Lowndes and
       Edward Lownds and also all such Debts Sum and sums Goods Merchandizes
       and Effects which are due and owing or belonging unto me the said
       Jane Hardman as Executrix as aforesaid on any ^account^ whatsoever and to compound
       accept and agree for the same and on receipt composition or agreement we
       do hereby Severally impower our said Attorney to make sign seal execute
       and deliver Acquittances Releases or other sufficient discharges and one
       or more Attorney or Attorneys under him to make and again at his pleasure
       to revoke and new ones to substitute and appoint from time to time as often
       as he shall think proper but on refusal or nonpayment of What is or shall
       appear to be due and owing or belonging as aforesaid such person or persons
       so refusing to sue arrest Imprison Implead Prosecute in any Court or
       Courts of Lower Equity and to proceed to Judgment and Execution and
       again out of prison to discharge and free and if need befor us and in our
       Names to defend and plead to any Action or Actions to be brought or prosecuted
       against us or either of us in any Court or Courts or Record or else where  And
       also to State Settle and Adjust all Accounts and Reckonings now open
       and Depending between us or either of us and any other Person or Persons
       at or in Maryland aforesaid and Verginia or parts adjacent and Generally
       to Act and do for us in the premisses as fully and effectually to all intents
       and purposes as we ourselves or either of us could might or ought to do if
       Personally present Giving and by these presents Granting unto our said
       Attorney and his substitutes our full and Absolute Power and Authority
       in the premisses hereby ratifying allowing and confirming all and whatsoever
       our said Attorney and his substitutes shall Lawfully do or cause to be done
       in pursuance and by Virtue thereof  In Witness whereof we have hereunto
       put our hands and seals this twenty sixth day of February in the year
       of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and fifty six
