(320) July 10th 1761 Then came before us two of his Lordships Justices of Ann Arundel County Court the within named William Gaither Party to the within Presents and acknowledged the same to be his Act and Deed and the Lands & Premisses with the ^within^ appurtenances therein mentioned to be bargained and Sold &c to be the Estate Property Right and Title of the within named Devisees under the Will of Philip Hammond Esq.r deceased (according to the Tenor and Intent of the Said Will) namely of Charles John Philip Denton Rezin & Matthias Hammond and their Heirs & Assigns for ever being Tenants in Common agreeably with the Directions of an Act of Assembly in such case made and Provided Acknowledged before us Jn.o Bullen Recorded 13th July 1761 W.m Steuart 13½ s.ds x.d This Indenture made this Sixth day of July one thousand Seven hundred and Sixty one Between Hugh Tomlinson of Frederick County Planter and David Ross Surgeon James White and Zachariah White of Prince Georges County of the other Part Witnesseth that the said Hugh Tomlinson for and in consideration of the Sum of Thirty Pounds Current Money of Maryland to him in hand paid by the Said David Ross James White Zachariah White at or before the Sealing and delivering of these Presents the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge and thereof and therefrom doth quit exonorate and discharge the said David Ross James White and Zachariah White their Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns and every of them by these Presents Hath given granted bargained sold aliened released enfeoffed & confirmed and by these Presents doth give grant bargain sell alien release enfeoff and confirm unto the said David Ross James White and Zachariah White their Heirs and Assigns forever all the remaining Part of a Tract of Land called Addition to Fellowship lying in Frederick County on a Branch called Rock Creek and near the Falls of the said Creek (bounded) |
