       the Parties to these presents have interchangeably set their Hands
       and affixed their seals the Day and year first above Written
       Signed Sealed and Delivered                  Marg.t Buchanan  (seal)
       in presents of                                          Rob.t Buchanan   (seal)
          R.d Tilghman         Memo.d the words otherways called Hoaps Addition
          Rich.d Skinner      agreeable to a Deed from Pratter to Geo Buchanan
                                      was interlined before the executing the above Deed

       On the back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Written Viz.t

       Queen Anns County fs.t  Be it remembered that on the twenty
       ninth Day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred
       sixty and one the Within Margarett Buchanan and Robert
       Buchanan personally appeared before me one of his Lordships
       Justices of the Provincial Court and acknowledged the within
       Instrument of Writing to be their Act and Deed for the use within
       mentioned and the Land & Premisses with all and singular the
       appurtenances thereunto belonging to be the Right and Title
       interest estate and property of the within Jonathan Slater his
       Heirs and Assigns for ever according to the True intent and
       meaning of the within Deed

       Received of M.r Jonathan Slater the sum of two hundred pounds
       sterling money of Great Britain it being the consideration money
       within mentioned witness our Hands this 29.th Day of May Anno

       30 May 1761  Received the sum of six shillings and two pence
