       Richard Tilghman Earle being by me privately examined a part and out
       of the hearing of her said Husband did acknowledge the within Bargained and
       Sold or mentioned or intended to be bargained and sold Land and Premisses to
       be the right and Estate of the within named Mary forever according to the true
       Intent and Meaning of the within Deed and did Declare and Assert that
       she did make the said acknowledgment voluntarily and freely and without
       being induced thereto by fears or threats of or ill usage from her said Husband
       or through fear of his displeasure

                               This Indenture made this thirteenth day
       of May in the Year of our Lord Christ One thousand Seven hundred and
       Sixty One Between Richard Tilghman Earle of Queen Anns
       County in the Province afd Gentleman of the one Part and Edward
       Tilghman of the same County and Province Gentleman and Juliana
       his Wife of the other part  Witnesseth that the said Richard
       Tilghman Earle for and in consideration of the sum of five shillings
       sterling to him in Hand paid at and before the Sealing and Delivery of these
       Presents the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge and thereof and
       therefrom and of and from every part thereof doth release acquit
       exonerate and discharge them the said Edward Tilghman and Juliana
       his Wife their Heirs Exors Admors and Assigns and every of them  Hath
       given granted bargained Sold Aliened released enfeoffed and Confirmed
       and by these Presents Doth gibe grant bargain sell alien release enfeoff
       and confirm unto them the said Edward Tilghman and Juliana his
       Wife  All that part of a Tract of Land laying and being formerly in Prince
       Georges but now in Frederick County called The five Daughters (the
       whole containing according to Patent fifteen hundred Acres) which is included
