       On the twelfth day of May in the year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and sixty one
       came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Provincial Justices the within named Michael
       Earle and Mary his Wife Edward Tilghman and Juliana his Wife Henry Ward Pearce and
       Annastatia his Wife and Eleanor Carroll Parties to the within Deed and did severally
       acknowledge the within Instrument of Writing to be their Act and deed and the Lands
       and Premisses therein mentioned to be the right and Estate of the within named Richard
       Tilghman Earle his Heirs and Assigns for ever according to the true intent and meaning
       of the same Deed and the Act of Assembly in such case made and Provided  And on the
       same day and year the afd Mary Wife of the afd Michael Earle Juliana Wife of the
       afd Edward Tilghman and Annastatia Wife of the afd Henry Ward Pearce being by
       me privately examined apart from and out of the Hearing of their said respective
       Husbands did repeat and make such acknowledgment as afd and did further declare
       that they did make their same Several Acknowledgments voluntarily and freely
       and without being induced thereto by fear or threats of or ill usage from their said
       respective Husbands or through fear of their displeasure

                               This Indenture made this thirteenth day of
       May in the Year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and Sixty One Between
       Richard Tilghman Earle of Queen Anns County Gentleman of the one Part and
       Michael Earle of Cecil County Gentleman and Mary his Wife of the other Part
       Witnesseth that the said Richard Tilghman Earle for and in consideration
       of the sum of five shillings sterling to him in hand paid at and before the sealing
       and delivery of these Presents the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge and thereof
       and therefrom and of and from every part and Parcel thereof doth hereby release
       acquit exonerate and discharge them the said Michael Earle and Mary his Wife their
       Heirs Exors Admrs and Assigns and every of them  Hath given granted bargained
       sold aliened released enfeoffed and confirmed and by these Presents Doth give
       grant bargain sell alien release enfeoffe and confirm unto them the said
