       Service you shall do as Clerk of the said Office and also that in Making
       out the Office Fees you will not wittingly or willingly charge other or higher
       Fees than Limitted by the Act entituled An Act for amending the staple
       of Tobacco for preventing Frauds in his Majesty's Customs and for Limitation
       of Officers Fees               Affirmed to this 7th May 1761

x.d  To all ^to^ whom these Presents shall come The Honourable
       Elizabeth Byng of Upper Brooks Street near Grosvenour Square in the
       County of Middlesex Widow Sole Executrix Named in and by the last Will
       and Testament of Jonathan Forward late of London Esquire Deceased
       Sendeth Greeting Whereas the said Jonathan Forward did in his
       Life time send to Bryan Philpott then and now residing in Maryland
       a Letter of Attorney or some other Deed or Instrument in Writing Authorizing
       and Empowering him to settle and adjust all Accounts then depending
       between him the said Jonathan Forward and William Lux of Maryland
       or other the Representatives of Darby Lux deceased and for receiving
       of Divers other Persons Several Sums of Money and Settleing and
       adjusting accounts with them and for other Matters and purposes
       therein mentioned which or great part of which as is Apprehended
       Still remain unreceived unsettled and unadjusted and unperformed
       And it is also apprehended that by the Death of the said Jonathan
       Forward the Power or Authority so given to the said Bryan Philpott
       Determined   And Whereas the said Elizabeth Byng having
       duly proved the Will of the said Jonathan Forward an taken upon
       herself the Burthen and Execution thereof and the Management of
       his affairs she hath resolved to Authorize and Empower Jonathan Plowman
       of Maryland aforesaid Merchant to transact and do for her the
       matters aforesaid so to be done by the said Bryan Philpott  Now   
       Know Ye that for the further better and more certain revokeing
