(277) Seized of the Tracts or Parcels of Land aforesaid and Premisses and every Part thereof to and for the only proper Use and Behoof of the said Robert Alexander his Heirs and Assigns for ever and to or for no other use intent or purpose whatsoever In Witness whereof the Parties to these Presents have hereunto set their Hands and Seals the day and Year first above written Signed Sealed and Delivered In the Presence of Rob.t Alexander (Seal) James Cummings S.t Geo Peale W.m Steuart (seal) John Brice Jun.r (seal) On the Back of the aforegoing Release was thus written Viz.t Received the Day and Year within Mentioned of and from the within named William Steuart the Sum of ten Shillings Sterling being the £ 10 consideration mentioned to be by him paid to me Witness James Cummings S.t Geo Peale W.m Steuart 15.th April 1761 Then Came before me the Subscriber One of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court the within named Robert Alexander Party to the within Deed and did acknowledge the within Instrument of Writing to be his Act and Deed and that the within granted Lands and Premisses were the right and Estate of the said William Steuart also Party thereto his Heirs and Assigns to and for the Uses within mentioned 5 sides Recorded 28.th April 1761 Geo Steuart x.d This Indenture made this Seventh day of April in the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and Sixty One Between Charles Rumsey of Baltimore County in the Province of Maryland Merchant of the one Part and John Brice Esquire of the City of Annapolis of (the) |
