(243) Sealed Signed and Delivered in the Presence of C Homewood (seal) Reverdy Ghiselin William Steuart Hy Woodward (seal) On the back of the aforegoing Mortgage was thus Written Viz.t March 14th 1761 Received of the within named Henry Woodward the sum of Two hundred and Ninety Nine Pounds Sterling being the Consideration Money within Mentioned Witness then psent C Homewood Reverdy Ghiselin William Steuart March 14th 1761 Personally appeared before Us the Subscribers Two of his Lordships the Right Honble the Lord Proprietaries Justices of Ann.ll County Court the within named Charles Homewood and acknowledged the within written Indenture of Mortgage to be his proper Act and Deed according to the true intent and meaning thereof and the Lands and Premisses therein contained under the covenants therein contained to be the Right and Estate of the within mentioned Henry Woodward his heirs and Assigns according to the Act of Assembly in that case made and Provided Acknowledged the Day and Year aforesaid before Us Reverdy Ghiselin 7 sides Recorded 14th March 1761 William Steuart at request of Charles Homewood x.d This Indenture made this eighth day of March in the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and six One Between Edward Dorsey of Baltimore County in the Province of Maryland Planter on the one Part and Vachel Dorsey of Ann Arundel in the Province aforesaid Planter on the Other Part Witnesseth that he the said Edward Dorsey for and in consideration of the sum of six pounds Sterling Money of Great Britain to him in hand paid or secured to be paid by the said Vachel Dorsey at or before the Ensealing and Delivery of these Presents the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge and thereof and every part and (parcel) |
