       Husbands Displeasure   Taken the Day and Year aforesaid by
8½ sides  Recorded Sept.r 20th 1759                                          John Darnall


Ex.d  This Indenture made the first day of August in the Year of our Lord one
       thousand Seven hundred and fifty nine Between Jonathan Starky of Baltimore
       County Planter of the one Part and Thomas Lane Weems of Ann Arundel County
       Gentleman of the other Part Witnesseth That the Said Jonathan Starkey for
       and in consideration of the Sum of five Shillings of Lawful Money of England
       to him in Hand paid by the Said Thomas Lane Weems at or before the Ensealing
       and Delivery of these Presents the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged Hath
       bargained & sold and by these presents doth bargain and sell unto the Said Thomas
       Lane Weems all that Tract or Parcel of plantable Land called Cullenburne
       lying and being in Baltimore County containing two hundred acres with
       the appurtenances To have and to hold the said Tract or parcel of
       Land and Premisses with the appurtenances hereby bargained and Sold or
       mentioned or intended to be hereby bargained and Sold unto the said
       Thomas Lane Weems his Executors Administrators and Assigns from the
       Day next before the day of the Date of these Presents for during and unto
       the full End and Term of one whole year from thence next ensuing and
       fully to be compleat and Ended To the Intent and Purpose that the said
       Thomas Lane Weems may be the better enabled enabled to receive and
       take a Grant or Release of the Premisses hereby bargained and sold or
       mentioned or intended to be hereby bargained and sold to him and his
       assigns for and During the natural life of the said Jonathan Starky in
       such sort manner and form as in and by one Indenture intended to bear
       Date the day next after the day of the Date of these presents the same
       shall be granted released and conveyed In Witness whereof the Parties to
       these presents have hereunto interchangeably set their Hands and seals the
       day and year above written
