x.d  This Indenture Tripartite made the Second day of
       August in the Year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and fifty
       nine Between Jonathan Starky of Baltimore County Planter of the
       first Part Thomas Lane Weems of Ann Arundel County Gentleman of the
       second Part and Edward Dorsey of Ann Arundel County Gentleman of the
       third Part Witnesseth That the said Jonathan Starkey for and in consideration
       of the Sum of Five Shillings of Lawful Money of England to him in hand
       paid by the said Thomas Lane Weems at or before the Ensealing and delivery
       of these Presents the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged Hath given
       Granted released and confirmed and by these Presents doth give grant release
       and confirm unto the same Thomas Lane Weems All that Tract or Parcel
       of Land called Cullenburne lying and being in Baltimore County containing two
       hundred acres with the appurtenances late in the Tenure and Occupation of the said
       Jonathan Starky (but now all in the Actual Possession of the Said Thomas Lane Weems
       by Force of an Indenture of Bargain and Sale thereof made bearing Date the Day
       before the Date of these Presents and of the Statute for Transferring of Uses into possession ^being^
       To have and to hold all the Said Tract or Parcel of Land and all and every the
       Premisses with the appurtenances hereby given granted released and confirmed or
       mentioned or intended to be hereby given granted released and confirmed unto the
       said Thomas Lane Weems and his Assigns for and during the Natural Life of the
       said Jonathan Starky To the Intent and purpose that the said Thomas Lane Weems
       shall and may be perfect Tenant of the Freehold of all the said Lands and Premisses
       until one or more good and Perfect Recovery or Recoveries may be had against the
