       perform the Several Duties required of him to be performed by the Act of Assembly
       of this Province Entituled an Act for granting a Supply of Forty thousand Pounds
       for his Majestys Service and Striking Thirty four thousand and fifteen Pounds six
       shillings thereof in Bills of Credit and raising a Fund for Sinking the same
       And do well and faithfully pay to the commissioners of the Loan Office for the
       Time being the Several Sums of Money which he shall receive or be
       answerable for in Virtue of the Same Act at Such Time as by the said
       Act is Directed according to the true Intent and Meaning thereof Then
       the above Obligation to be void and of no Effect otherwise to remain
       in full force and Virtue

Duty paid  To all to whom these Presents shall come I George Shipley of
   L S        Ann Arundel County Planter Send Greeting Whereas I owe and stand
John Brice justly indebted unto Vachel Dorsey and William Shipley (Planters) of
    Clk       the aforesaid County in the full and Just Sum of One hundred Pounds
       Sterling Money which said Sum I being willing to secure and satisfie
       unto them the Said Vachel Dorsey and William Shipley  Do in
       consideration thereof Grant Bargain Sell Assign and Set over unto
       them the Said Vachel Dorsey and William Shipley their Heirs and Assigns
       To Say one Tract of Land lying and being in Ann Arundel County called
       Shipleys Enlargement containing Six hundred and Twenty five Acres
       Begininng at one bounded white Oak Two bounded Spanish Oaks and
       one bounded Red Oak Standing on the West Side of a small Draft of Patapsco
       Falls as also One other Tract or parcel of Land called Stinchcombs Reserve
       lying and being in Baltimore County Beginning at Two bounded white
