                                     Then Came David Lewis one of the Subscribing Witnesses
       to the within Deed and above Power of Attorney before me the Subscriber one of his
       Lordships the Right honourable the Lord Proprietary of the Province of Maryland
       his Justices of the Provincial Court and made Oath on the Holy Evangelists of
       Almighty God that he saw the within and above named Bartholomew Pomeroy
       and Joseph Janson Sign Seal and Deliver the within Deed as well as the above Power
       of Attorney and that he saw Leonard Booke and Charles Ridgley Junior the
       Two other Subscribing Subscribing Witnesses Subscribe their Names as
       Witnesses both to the within Deed and Power of Attorney

    L S       Johns Samuel Galloway and Benjamin Harrison of Ann Arundel

                County in the Province aforesaid Gentlemen are held and firmly bound
       unto the Right Honourable Frederick Lord Baron of Baltimore &c in the
       full and just Sum of Two hundred Pounds Current Money to be paid to his
       Said Lordship his Heirs and Successors To the which Payment well and truly
       to be made We bind ourselves and every of Us our and every of our Heirs
       Executors and Administrators Jointly and Severally for the whole and in the
       whole firmly by these Presents sealed with our Seals and Dated this Twenty
       Second Day of November in the Tenth Year of his Lordships Dominion Annoque
       Domini One thousand Seven hundred and Sixty

       The Condition of the above Obligation is such that if the above Bounden
       Kinsey Johns whilst he Shall Continue in the Office of Receiver or Collector of
       the Land Tax in Ann Arundel County shall well and faithfully execute and
