       On the fourteenth Day of November 1760  Came before me the
       Subscriber one of his Lordships Provincial Justices the within named
       William Roberts and Acknowledged the within Deed to be his Act
       and Deed & the Lot of Ground and Premisses within mentioned to
       be the Right and Estate of the within named Thomas Hyde his
       heirs and assigns for ever according to the purport true intent
       and meaning of the same Deed and the Act of Assembly in
       such case made and provided and on the same Day and year
       came before us Ann the wife of the afd William Roberts & being
       privately examined apart from and out of the hearing of her
       said Husband did declare that she did release and did by this
       her acknowledgement intend to release unto the afd Thomas
       Hyde his heirs & assigns all her ^Right^ and Title of Dower of in and to
       the said Lot of Ground and Premisses with the appurtenances
       And the said Ann did further acknowledge and Declare that
       she did release her right of Dower afd and make this her
       acknowledgment of her own free will and accord without
       being induced thereto by fears or threats of or ill usuage from
       her said Husband or through fear of his Displeasure

       penny sterling for the use of Lord Baltimore being the Alienation Fine
       on the within Lott of Land and by Virtue of a commission from Edward Lloyd
       Esq.r his said Lordships Agent and Receiver General

x.d  This Indenture made the Ninth day of December in the Year of our Lord
       one thousand Seven hundred and Sixty Between Michael Macnemara
       of the City of Annapolis Esquire of the one Part and Charles Carroll Esquire of
       the Same City of the other Part  Witnesseth That the said Michael Macnemara
       for and in consideration of the Sum of Five hundred pounds Sterling Money
       to him in hand paid by the said Charles Carroll at or before the Sealing and
       Delivery of these Presents the Receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge and
       thereof doth acquit and discharge the said Charles Carroll his Executors and
