184 June the 14th 1760 Reced of M.r John Hood Eleven Shillings and three pence Sterling for his Lordships use (it being the Alienation fine on the within mentioned 11 sides Land) by Virtue of a Commission from Edward Lloyd Esq.r his Lordships Agent and Receiver General Recorded 8th Nov.r 1760 Rich.d Dorsey x.d This Indenture made this twelfth Day of November in the year of our Lord seventeen hundred and sixty Between Henry Woodward of Ann Arundel County Gentleman and Mary his wife late Mary Young Daughter and heir at Law of Richard Young Deced of the one part and Thomas Johnson Junior of the City of Annapolis Attorney at Law of the other part Witnesseth that for & in consideration of the sum of forty pounds current money in hand paid by him the said Thomas Johnson Junior to them the said Henry Woodward and Mary his wife the Receipt wherof they do hereby Acknowledge & thereof and therefrom do hereby release acquit and discharge him the said Thomas Johnson Junior his heirs Executors and Administrators and every of them by these presents They the said Henry Woodward & Mary Woodward his wife have and each of them Hath granted bargained sold aliened released enfeoffed & confirmed and by these presents Do and each of them Doth grant bargain sell alien enfeoff and confirm unto him the said Thomas Johnson Junior his heirs and assigns for ever All that Lott of Ground Lying and being in the City of Annapolis aforesaid devised by Samuel Young the Grandfather of the aforesaid mary in and by his Testament and Last will to Richard Young the son of him the said Samuel Young and Father of the aforesaid Mary Together with all Priviledges |
