(172) Crop Mare a Sorrell and Grey Mare and two Bay Mares To have and to Hold the aforesaid Thirty Nine Negroes with their Increase also the aforesaid Eighty three Head of Cattle with their Increase and the aforesaid Twelve Horses and Mares with their Increase unto the Said John Worthington his Heirs and Assigns for ever to the only proper Use and Behoof of him the Said John Worthington his Heirs and Assigns and to no other Use Intent and purpose whatsoever under a Provisoe or Condition in the aforerecited Deed or Indenture contained and it was the true Intent and Meaning thereof that if the aforementioned William Worthington Junior should well and truly pay or cause to be paid unto the said John Worthington his certain Attorney Executors Administrators and Assigns the just Sum of Five Hundred fifty four pounds sterling Money of Great Britain with legal Interest for the same from the Date of the aforerecited Indenture at or before the twenty fourth Day of July which should be in the Year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and forty six without Fraud or further Delay then the said recited Indenture of Mortgage or Instrument to be void otherwise to be of full Force and Virtue in Law as by the said recited Indenture of Mortgage or Instrument of writing duly executed acknowledged and Recorded in Baltimore County Land Records in Liber T B N.o 1 folios 43, 44, 45, 46 & 47 reference being thereto had may more fully and at Large appear And Whereas the aforesaid William Worthington Jun.r by one other Indenture of Mortgage bearing Date on or about the eighteenth Day of August in the Year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and forty four made or mentioned to be made Between the aforesaid William Worthington Junior by the Name of William Worthington Junior of Baltimore County in the Province of Maryland Gent of the One Part and John Worthington by the Name of his Father John Worthington of the County of Ann.ll in the Province aforesaid Merchant of the other Part It was thereby Witnessed that the said William Worthington Junior for and in consideration of the Sum of Four hundred Pounds Sterling Money of great Britain to him in hand paid by the Said John Worthington the receipt whereof he the Said William Worthington did thereby acknowledge He the (said) |
