x.d  This Indenture made this Twentieth day of October in the year of our
       Lord one thousand Seven hundred and sixty Between John Worthington of
       Baltimore County in the Province of Maryland Eldest son and Heir at Law of William
       Worthington Junior late of Baltimore County and Province aforesaid Gentleman
       Deceased of the one Part and John Worthington of Ann Arundel County in the Province
       aforesaid Gentleman Grand Father of the aforesaid John Worthington Junior of the
       other part  Whereas the aforesaid William Worthington Junior by Indenture of
       Mortgage bearing Date the Seventh Day of March in the Year of our Lord God seventeen
       hundred forty and four made or mentioned to be made between him the said
       William Worthington Junior by the Name of William Worthington Junior of Baltimore
       County Gentleman of the One Part and the aforesaid John Worthington Grand
       Father as aforesaid by the Name of John Worthington his Father of Ann Arundel
       County of the other Part  It was then Witnessed That the Said William Worthington
       Junior for and in consideration of the sum of Five hundred and fifty four pounds
       sterling money of Great ^Britain^ to him then in Hand paid by the said John Worthington
       the Receipt whereof he did thereby acknowledge and thereof and of every part
       and parcel thereof did acquit and Discharge the said John Worthington his
       Executors and Administrators He the aforesaid William Worthington Junior for
       himself his Heirs Executors and Administrators did give grant Bargain sell
       Alien and Confirm unto him the aforesaid John Worthington his Heirs and
       Assigns for ever the Negroes and Stock therein after mentioned (To wit)
       Sixteen Negroe Men named Jack Sancay Cæsor Hector Robin London Peter
       Dick Peter Cook Bristol Pompe Boson Adam Brewer and Lewis Ten Negroes
       Women named Rachel Fanny Jemima Sue Schorfield Mary Ruth Hannah
       Morea Cloe Thirteen Negroe Children Named Nell Rachel Sue Nan James Toby
       Jack Will Tom Sam Dick Bristol and Adam in all Thirty Nine Negroes and
       Molatto Slaves Eighty three Head of Cattle (to wit) Twenty eight Cows
       fourteen young stears eighteen young Heifers six Old Stears thirteen yearlings
       and four Bulls all or the most part of them marked with a Crop in the left
       Ear and a Hole and Slit in the  Right Ear Also Twelve Horses and Mares
       to wit Jack a Bay Stallion Buck Tinker Champion Prince Pleasure a
