             On the back of the aforegoing Bill of sale was thus written Viz.t

       Received the Seventeenth of October seventeen hundred and Sixty the within
       mentioned Sum of Two hundred and Sixty pounds the Consideration Money of
       and from the within named Henry Woodward

                         Mary Woodward

       Came before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Peace
       for the Provincial Court Charles Homewood and Acknowledged the within
       Deed to be his Act and Deed according to the True Intent and Meaning
       of the same and the Act of Assembly in Such Case me and Provided
4 sides  Acknowledged before me this 28th Day of October 1760

          Duty paid


xd  Maryland fs.t  Know all Men by these Presents That I
       Henry Woodward Esq.r of Ann Arundel County in the Province of Maryland
       am held and firmly bound unto Charles Homewood Esq.r of the County
       and Province aforesaid in the full and just Sum of five hundred Pounds
       British Sterling Money of England to be paid to the Said Charles
       Homewood Such Wife as he shall hereafter Marry his certain Attorney his
       Heir Executors Administrators or Assigns to the which Payment well and
       truly to be made and Done without any matter of Fraud Eviction or Covin
       I bind myself my Heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns in the whole
       and for the whole to all Intents Limitations Constructions and Purposes
       whatever for the whole and in the whole firmly by these Presents sealed
       with my Seal and Dated this twenty Ninth Day of October in the
       Year of our Blessed Lord and Saviour Seventeen hundred and Sixty
       The Express and Irrevocable Condition of the above Specified and
       Expressed Obligation is in manner and form following That whereas the
       said Charles Homewood by his certain Bill of sale or conveyance in writing
       under his Hand and Seal bearing Date the Seventeenth day of this Present
