xd  Know all Men by these Presents that I Charles Homewood of Ann Arundel
Duty paid   County Esq.r for and in consideration of the sum of Two hundred and Sixty Pounds
  LS   Current Money to me in Hand well and truly paid by Henry Woodward of Ann
John Brice  Arundel County Gent at or before the Sealing and Delivery of these Presents the
       Receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge and thereof and therefrom and of and
       from every part thereof Do hereby Release Acquit and Discharge the said Henry
       Woodward his Executors and Administrators Have Granted bargained Sold
       Delivered and by these Presents Do Grant bargain Sell and Deliver unto
       the said Henry Woodward his Executors Administrators and Assigns the following
       Negroes to wit One Negro Man named Bembo One negro Man named
       Daniel One Negro Man named Kitt Alias Christopher and one Negro Man
       named Cuffee  To have and to Hold the aforesaid Negroes named
       Bembo Daniel Kitt and Cuffee unto the Said Henry Woodward his
       Executors Administrators and Assigns as his and their own proper Negroes
       for ever And I the Said Charles Homewood for myself my Heirs Ex.rs
       and Administrators do by these Presents Covenant Promise Grant and  
       Agree to and with the Said Henry Woodward his Executors Administrators
       and Assigns that I the said Charles Homewood my Heirs Executors and
       Administrators shall and will well and truly warrant the said Negroes
       named Bembo Daniel Kitt and Cuffee unto the said Henry Woodward
       his Executors Administrators and Assigns  In Witness whereof I the said
       Charles Homewood have hereunto set my hand and Seal this Seventeenth
       Day of October in the Year of our Lord Seventeen hundred and Sixty
       Signed Sealed & Delivered
