(154) Heirs and Assigns for ever and to and for no other Use Intent or purpose whatsoever Provided always and it is the true intent and meaning of these Presents that if the said Charles Homewood or such Wife as he shall hereafter Marry or his Heirs Executors or Administrators or Trustees for such Heirs or any of them do and Shall well and truly satisfy content and pay or cause to be paid unto the said Henry Woodward his Executors Administrators or Assigns the aforesaid Sum of Two thousand and forty four Pounds and Eight Pence Sterling before at or after the fifth day of November Seventeen hundred and Seventy five then this Bargain and Sale and the conveyance hereby made shall cease determine and be nul and utterly void any thing herein contained to the contrary thereof to the contrary Notwithstanding And the said Charles Homewood doth hereby for himself his Heirs Executors and Administrators Covenant Promise and Agree to and with the said Henry Woodward his Executors Administrators and Assigns in manner and form following that is to say That he the said Charles Homewood and his Heirs the said Bargained and Sold or meant mentioned or intended to be bargained and Sold Lands and Premisses and each and every of them unto him the said Henry Woodward and his Heirs and Assigns against all Manner of Persons whatsoever shall and will Warrant and for ever Defend And further that ^he^ the said Charles Homewood will well and truly pay and Satisfy unto him the said Henry Woodward the aforesaid Sum of Two thousand and forty four pounds and eight pence Sterling at before or after the said fifth day of November seventeen hundred and Seventy five according to the said Condition or Proviso for Payment thereof And also that he the Said Henry Woodward his Heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns shall and may on the fifth day of November now next ensuing or at any Time thereafter at his Pleasure enter upon have hold occupy possess and enjoy all and Singular the said Bargained and Sold Land and Premisses (except such part thereof as is now held and enjoyed by Ann Govane Gentlewoman the Mother of him the said Charles Homewood for the Dower of the Endowment of Thomas Homewood Esq.r Deceased her late Husband the Father of him the said Charles Homewood (and) |
