(152) xd This Indenture made this fourth day of October in the year of our Lord God Seventeen hundred and Sixty Between Charles Homewood of LS Ann Arundell County Gentleman of the one Part and Henry Woodward of Ann Arundel County Gentleman of the other Part Witnesseth that for and in consideration of the Sum of Two thousand and forty four pounds and eight pence Sterling Money by him the said Henry Woodward to the said Charles Homewood in Hand actually advanced and paid at or before the sealing and Delivery of these Presents the receipt whereof he the said Charles Homewood doth hereby acknowledge and thereof and therefrom and of and from every part and parcel thereof doth hereby release acquit exonerate and discharge him the said Henry Woodward his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns and every of them by these presents He the said Charles Homewood Hath given granted Bargained Sold Aliened Released Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these Presents Doth Give Grant Bargain ^Sell^ Alien Release Enfeoff and Confirm unto the said Henry Woodward his Heirs and Assigns all those several following Tracts or parcels of Land ^lying and being in Ann Arundel County aforesaid that is to say all that Tract or parcel of Land^ called Homewoods Lott containing Thirteen Hundred and Ninety two Acres of Land all that part of a Tract of Land called mill Town alias Young Richard containing Six Acres granted William Cumming Esq.r for forty six acres All that Tract or Parcel of Land called Henrieta Marias Care for Mary Chew containing eight and a half Acres of Land Granted Charles Homewood All that part of Homewoods Chance and Blays Neck containing Ten Acres Homewoods Chance granted John Homewood Esq.r for Three hundred Acres and Blays Neck granted Edward Blay for Two hundred Acres All that part of a Tract or parcel of Land called Scotland containing two hundred acres Granted Major Richard Ewen for Six hundred Acres All that part of a Tract of Land called Leonards Neck containing one hundred and Ninety Acres Granted Henry Woolchurch for two hundred and Ninety Acres All that Tract or parcel of Land called Allcotts Tryangle Granted (Samuel) |
