(151) of the said Charles Todd and his Heirs forever and that he and they may peaceably and quietly have and enjoy the same In Witness whereof the said Charles Homewood hath hereunto Set his Hand and Seal this fourth day of October in the year of our Blessed Lord and Saviour Seventeen hundred and Sixty Sealed Signed and Delivered in the Presence of Cha.s Homewood (Seal) B Nicholson Hy Woodward On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Written Viz.t Oct.r 4th 1760 Then Received of Charles Homewood Esq.r One hundred and Ninety Nine Pounds five Shillings and three Pence Current Money being the consideration within mentioned Witnesses then present hereunto required B Nicholson Charles Todd Hy Woodward October 4th 1760 Personally appeared before me the Subscriber one of his Lordship the Right Honourable the Lord Proprietary's Justices of the Provincial Court of Maryland the afore specified Charles Todd and Acknowledged the within Deed to be his proper Act and Deed and the Lands and Premisses therein named to be the Right and Title of the within named Charles Homewood Esq.r his Heirs and Assigns for ever according to the true Intent and Meaning of the same Deed and pursuant to the Act of Assembly expressly provided Acknowledged the Day and Year aforesaid before Geo Steuart 3.d Oct.r 1760 Received the Sum of three Shillings and Nine pence Three farthings being the Alienation fine for the Land within Mentioned for the use of the Lord Baltimore 4½ sides L Recorded 27.th Oct.o 1760 Edw.d LLoyd Duty paid |
