Geo Gregory  In Pursuance of the Powers to us given by an Act of

                      Enquire of the Estates of certain Traytors and of Popish
                      Recusants and of Estates given to Superstitious Uses in
Lem Cuningham  Order to raise Money out of them Severally for the Use of
          (seal)    the Publick)  These are to Authorize and impower you to
                      Seize all the Lands Tenements and Hereditaments and all
Denis Bond    other the Estate Real or Personal late belonging to Colonel
          (seal)    Talbot in Talbot County or elsewhere within the Province
                       of Maryland (who since the 24th of June 1715 has been
J Birch            Attainted for High Treason committed before the first of June
          (seal)    1716 by which Attainder the said Lands and Premisses are
                       vested in his Majesty King George for the Use of the Publick
John Zyles       and for your so doing this shall be your Sufficient Warrant
          (seal)    Given under our Hands and Seals at our Office in Essex Street
