                                     The above Deposition taken before me the Subscriber
       one of his Lordships Justices of the Peace for said county 28.th Aug.t 1760

       Maryland Cæcil County fs.t
                                                    This Indenture made between
       Cap.n Abell Van Burkeloo Sheriff of said County in the Province abovesaid
       and the Enquest of Office Summoned by the said Sheriff by Virtue
       of a Commission to him directed by his Excellency John Hart Esq.r
       Governor of this Province to inquire concerning the Estate of a certain
       Traiter named James Talbot in pursuance of a commission directed to
       the Several respective Sheriffs of the Said Province by the Honourable
       Commissioners by a late Act of Parliament appointed to inquire of the
       Estate of certain Traitors and Popish Recusants and of Estates given
       to Superstitious Uses of the other part Witnesseth That the said
       Enquest having enquired accordingly doth find that the said James
       Talbot was in the year one thousand seven hundred and fifteen seized
       of a certain Mannor in Cæcil County aforesaid called New Canought
       scituated lying and being at the Head of Chesapeak Bay containing thirty
       and two thousand Acres as by the certificate of the Survey of the said
       Land may appear and valued by the said Jury at five pounds Proclamation
       Money p hundred Acres some certain Tracts of Land being formerly
       sold out of the said thirty and two thousand Acres only excepted as also
       Tract of Land called Netherland containing five hundred and Seventy eight
       Acres valued at Two pounds thirteen Shillings and four pence p hundred also
       another Tract calld Middleton containing three hundred Acres valued at two
       pounds thirteen Shillings and four pence p hundred Acres also another Tract
       called Killdare Quantity unknown  In Witness whereof both parties hath
       hereunto set their Hands and affixed their Seals this fifteenth day of January
       one Thousand Seven hundred and Seventeen and Eighteen   Abel Van Burkeloo
