(128) said John Jarvert deceased who was of Cecil County aforesaid S P Bouchell Cecil County fs.t The above Deposition was taken before me the subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Peace for Said County this 25th August 1760 James Baxter 7. Richard Thompson Sen.r (Aged Eighty Years) of Cecil County and Province of Maryland being sworn on the Holy Evangels deposeth and Saith that he was well acquainted with Abell Van Burkeloo late Sheriff of the County aforesaid who has been long since deceased and with his Hand Writing having often seen him write and having 1½ much of his Hand writing now in his possession This Deponent further saith that he verily believes the name Abell Van Burkeloo sheriff set to the first Seal on the inquisition hereunto annexd is of the proper hand writing of the Said Abell Van Burkeloo Deceasd who was at the time the aforesaid inquisition is dated a Sheriff of Cecil County aforesaid R.d Thompson Cecil County fs.t The above Deposition taken before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Peace for the aforesaid County Aug.t 27th 1760 B Moody 8. Richard Thompson Sen.r of Cecil County and Province of Maryland Aged Eighty years Being sworn on the Holy Evangels deposeth and Saith That he was well acquainted with Samuel Alexander of the county and province aforesaid who has been long since deceased and with his hand writing having often Seen him write And this Deponent further saith that he very believes the Name Sam.l Alexander set to the Sixth Seal on the inquisition hereunto annexd is of the proper hand writing of the said Samuel (Alexander) |
