(129) Alexander deceased who was of the county aforesaid R.d Thompson 1½ Cecil County fs.t The above Deposition taken before me the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices for the said county this 27th Aug.t 1760 B Moody 9. William Bristow of Cecil County and Province of Maryland Aged fifty two years or thereabouts being sworn on the holy Evangelists deposeth and saith that his this Deponents Fathers Name was John Bristow who resided in the county aforesaid untill about the 27th day of March 1718 years when he died there that he was well acquainted with his said Fathers hand writing having often Seen him write And the said Deponant 1½ further saith that he verily believes that the Name John Bristow set to the 17th seal on the inquisition hereunto annexd is of the proper hand writing of his said Father John Bristow William Bristow Cecil County fs.t The above Deposition taken before the Subscriber one of his Lordships Justices of the Peace fo said county Aug.t 25.th 1760 James Baxter 10 William Bristow of Cecil County and Province of Maryland Aged fifty two years being Sworn on the Holy Evangels deposeth and saith that he was well acquainted with William Bristow of the County 1½ and Province aforesaid lately deceased (who was Uncle to him this Deponant) and with his Hand Writing having often seen him write and having many of his Writings now in his possession And this said Deponant further saith that he verily believes the name William Bristow set to the Sixteenth Seal on the inquisition hereunto annexed is of the hand writing of his said Uncle William Bristow lately deceased William Bristow |
