       Maryland fs.t June 26th 1760  Then Came before me Henry Rozer Esquire
       one of the Subscribing Witnesses to the within Deed and made Oath on the Holy
       Evangelist of Almighty God that he saw the within named John Carroll sign
       seal and deliver the said power of Attorney for the Uses Intent and purposes
       therein Mentioned and that Thomas Whetenhall subscribed together with
       him the said Henry Rozer as Witness thereto at the same time

       thousand Seven hundred and Sixty Between Joseph Evits of the
LS  City of Annapolis in the Province of Maryland Carpenter of the one part and
Jn.o Brice   Thomas Brooke Hodgkin of the City and Province aforesaid of the other
       part Witnesseth that the said Joseph Evitts for and in consideration
