x.d  Maryland fs.t       This Indenture made this
       thirtieth Day of May in the Year of our Lord one thousand
       seven hundred and sixty   Between Richard Snowden of
       Ann Arundel County Iron Master of the one part and John
       Gaither of the County aforesaid Planter of the other part
       Whereas the said Richard Snowden did by his Indenture bearing
       Date the twenty fourth day of December in the year of our Lord
       one thousand seven hundred and thirty seven make over & convey
       unto Joseph Waters then of Prince Georges County but now of
       Ann Arundel County Carpenter All that Tract or parcel of
       Land being part of a Tract of Land called the second addition
       to Snowdens Mannour lying situate in Annarundel County
       aforesaid   Beginning at a double white Oake bounded being
       the third and last bounded Tree of a Tract of Land called The
       Addition and running thence the several courses expressed
       in the aforesaid Deed reference thereunto had may more fully
       apper and whereas there was contained within the courses
       therein mentioned the Quantity of nine acres and a half
       of Land being part of a Tract of Land called Bite the Biter
       the Right and Estate of the said John Gaither which he the said
       John Gaither hath since released to the aforesaid Joseph
       Waters      Now This Indenture Witnesseth That
       the aforesaid Quantity of nine Acres and a half of Land so
       released as aforesaid by ^a^ good and sufficient Release the receipt
       whereof he Doth hereby Acknowledge and himself therewith to
       be fully satisfied and content therewith Doth give grant Release
       and confirm and by these presents doth give Grant release
       Relinquish and confirm unto him the said John Gaither all
       that Part or parcel of Land being part of a Tract of Land
       called the second addition to Snowdens Manour lying situate
       in Annarundel County aforesaid  Beginning at the end of the
       Twenty second and last course of a Tract of Land called Bite
       the Biter and running with the giving Line thereof South fifty
