       County shall well and faithfully execute and perform the
       several Dutys required of him to be performed by the Act of
       Assembly of this Province entituled An Act for Granting a supply
       of Forty thousand pounds for His Majestys Service and striking
       Thirty four thousand & fifteen pounds six Shillings thereof in
       Bills of Credit and raising a Fund for sinking the same and
       do well and faithfully pay to the commissioners of the Loan
       Office for the time being the several sums of Money which he
       shall receive or be answerable for in virtue of the same Act
       at such times as by the said Act is Directed according to the
       true intent and meaning thereof Then the above Obligation
       to be void and of no effect otherwise to remain in full Force
       and Virtue

             On the Back of the aforegoing Bond was thus Written to wit

       Charles County fs.t   November the 1.st 1759  Came
       John Wheatly & Henry M.cPherson before us the subscribers
       two of his Lordships Justices of the Peace for the County
       aforesaid and made Oath on the Holy Evangelists of Almighty
       God that they saw the within named Allen Davies John
       Moran & Henry Lyon sign seal and deliver the within
       mentioned Bond and that they signed the same as evidences
       to the said Bond                                    Jn.o Winter

       Recorded the 19.th June 1760


x.d   Maryland fs.t   This Indenture made this
       thirtieth day of May one thousand seven hundred and sixty
       between Richard Snowden of Ann Arundel County Iron Master
       in the Province aforesaid of the one part and John Gaither of
       the County aforesaid Planter of the other part  Witnesseth
