       June 11th in the Year of our Lord God 1760  Then Came the
       afore specified Charles Todd and acknowledged the aforegoing to be his
       proper Act and Deed to and only for the Use of the said Charles
       Homewood his Heirs and Assigns for ever according to the true
       intent and meaning of the same Deed and pursuant to the Act
       of Assembly in such cases expresly Provided acknowledged the
       day and year of our Lord above Specified before me the subscriber
sides    one of the Lordship the right Honourable the Lord Proprietarys
14   Justices of the Provincial Court of Maryland

                                        Received of M.r Charles Homewood three
       shillings and Eleven pence Sterling for his Lordships use (it
       being the alienation fine on the Lands mentioned in the aforegoing
       Deed) by virtue of a commission from Edward Lloyd Esquire his
       Lordships Agent and Receiver General

LS          Maryland fs.t      Know all Men by these Presents
Phil R.d  That We Allen Davies John Moran & Henry Lyon of
Fendall Clk   Charles County in the Province aforesaid Gent are held and firmly
  x.d  bound unto the Right Honourable Frederick Absolute Lord and
       Proprietary of the Provinces of Maryland and Avalon Lord Baron
       of Baltimore in the sum of Two hundred pounds current money
       to be paid to the said Lord Proprietary his heirs and successors To
       which Payment well and truly to be made and done We bind
       ourselves and each of us our and every of our heirs executors
       and administrators jointly and severally firmly by these Presents
       for and in the whole seal'd with our seals and dated this First
       day of November Anno Domini 1759

                The Condition of the above Obligation is such That if
       the above bounden Allen Davies whilst he shall continue in
       the Office of Receiver or Collector of the Land Tax in Charles
                                                                                        (County)
