                On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus
       Written to wit

       Memorandum That on the twelfth day of December
       Anno Domini 1753  Came the within Named John
5 Sides  Purdam and did Acknowledge the within Written
       Indenture to be his Act and Deed and the Lands and
       Premisses therein Mentioned to be the right of the
       within named Richard Snowden his Heirs and Assigns
       for ever according to Directions of an Act of Assembly
       in that case made and Provided
       Recorded 11th June 1760                     Before J Darnall


x.d  This Indenture made this Eleventh day of June
       in the Year of our Blessed Lord and Savior Seventeene
       Hundred and Sixty according to the Distinkt Computation
       of the Church of England by and between Charles
       Todd of Ann Arundell County Gentleman only Surviving Son
       and Heir at Law of Lancelott Todd late of the afore specified
       County Gentleman of the one part and Charles Homewood
       Esquire of the County and Province aforesaid of the other part
       Now This Indenture Expresly Witnesseth that
       the Said Charles Todd for and in consideration of the full
       Moietie or Sum of Thirty pounds Current Money of
       Maryland to him the said Charles Todd in hand paid
       by the said Charles Homewood the receipt whereof the
       Said Charles Todd doth hereby acknowledge and himselfe
       therewith to be fully Clearly Absolutely Satisfied Contented
       and paid and therefrom and every part thereof doth
       acquit Exonerate and Discharge the said Charles Homewood
       his Heirs Executors Administrators or Assignes and all
