             On the Back of the aforegoing Deed was thus Endorsed to wit

       Received the day and year first within Mentioned of the within named
       John Evan Jenkin the sum of Sixty two pounds Current Money of Maryland
       being the full Consideration Money within Mentioned

            On the Thirtieth day of May 1760 Came before me the subscriber
       one of his Lordships Justices of the Provincial Court the within named
       Charles Carroll and acknowledged the within Deed to be his Act and
       Deed and the Land and Premisses within Mentioned to be the right
       and Estate of the within named John Evan Jenkin his Heirs and
       Assigns according to the true Intent and Meaning of the within Deed
       and the Act of Assembly in Such Cases Made and Provided

       May the 30.th 1760   Received of M.r John Evan Jenkin five Shillings
       and one penny half penny Sterling for his Lordships Use (it being the
       Alienation Fine on the within Mentioned Land) by Virtue of a Commission
       from Edward Lloyd Esquire his Lordships Agent and Receiver General
       Recorded 30th May 1760                                 Rich.d Dorsey


Ex.d  This Indenture made this third day of May One thousand
       seven hundred and Sixty Between John Dew of the County of
       Calvert and province of Maryland Carpenter of the one Part and
       Robert Gover of the County and Province aforesaid of the other Part
       Witnesseth that for and in consideration of Five Thousand pounds of Tobacco
       in Hand paid have Demised bargained and Sold unto him the said Robert
       Gover his Heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns forever all and
