545 Ex.d This Indenture Made the 26.th Day of October in the Ninth year of the Reign of Our Sovereign Lord King George Annoq Dm One Thousand seven hundred twenty & three between Patrick Dunkeson of Baltemore County in the Province of Maryland planter of the one Part And Saladine Eagle of the Province & County af.d planter of the other part witnesseth that the af.d Patrick Dunkeson for & in consideration of three thousand Pounds of Tobacco and two Pounds current Silver Cash to him in hand paid and secured to be paid by the said Saladine Eagle (the receipt whereof the af.d Patrick Dunkeson Doth hereby acknowledge and thereof & of every Part & Parcell thereof the s.d Saladine Eagle his heirs executors and administrators and every of them Doth Acquit Exonerate and Discharge by these presents Doth for himself his heirs Give grant bargain sell alienate enfeoffe and confirm unto him the said Saladine Eagle his heirs & assigns for ever All that Parcell and Tract of Land called Richardson scituate lying & being on the South Side of a Branch of Gun Powder River comonly called Back River Beginning at a Bounded Pine standing by a creek side that proceeds out of the said River standing near a chesnutt of the Land called Spring Neck and running west Thirty Perches to a bounded Red Oak then Running south five hundred thirty four Perches then running east thirty Perches then by a Line Drawn Straight to the first Mentioned bounded bounded Tree containing one hundred acres of land more or less To have and to hold the said Land & Premises unto the Said Saladine Eagle his heirs and assigns for ever to him & their only proper use & behoof for ever And the said Patrick Dunkeson doth hereby for himself his heirs executors and administrators covenant promise & Grant to & with the said Saladine Eagle his heirs and assigns that he the said Patrick Dunkeson shall warrant & Defend the s.d pcell of Land containing on hundred Acres of Land more or less unto the s.d Saladine Eagle his heirs & assigns for ever against himself his heirs and against all other person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant & for ever defend by these presents In wittness whereof the said Patrick Dunkeson to this present indenture hath Set to his hand fixed his Seal the Day & Year first above written Patrick (Seal) Dunkison Signed Sealed & Delivered in psence of us J Bowes John Smith |
