536 x.d This Indenture made the eleventh day of September in the year of our Lord God one thousand seven hundred and Twenty three Between Charles Turner of near Seavern of Ann Arundell County Planter of the one part and Charles Carroll of the City of Annapolis Esq.r of the other part Wittnesseth that the said Charles Turner for and in consideration of the sume of Twenty Nine pounds Nineteen shillings and one penny three farthings sterling and Forty three pounds two shillings and one peny current to him in hand paid by the said Charles Carroll hath Given Granted Bargained Sold Aliend Enfeoffed and Confirmed as by these presents he doth for himself and his heires Given Granted Bargain Sell at lien enfeoff and confirme unto him y.e said Charles Carroll all the severall tracts or parcells of Land hereafter menconed and discribed (that is to say) A the Tract of Land lying in the said county called Rigby on the North side of Chesapeak bay and on the north side of a River in the said Bay called Severn River and on the south side of a creek in the said River called Broad Creek adjoyneing to the land lately laid unto Richard Deaver Begining at a Marked Chestnutt tree standing by a cove in the said creek runing south south west one hundred |
