    S.t Marys County fs.t July 2.d 1723

                Then Came William Maria Farthing and acknowledged the
       within Deed to be his Act and Deed to the use of the within Named
       John Bradford and Ann the wife of the within named William
       Maria Farthing being by us privately out of the Hearing
       of her husband examined Did acknowledge her Right of
       Dower to the within Tract of Land and that she So did w.thout
       being constrained thereto by fears or threats or ill treatment
       of her Husband or fear thereof acknowledged the Day & Year
       abovesaid before us two of his Lordships Justices of S.t Marys
       County aforesaid

New Castle County            The following Depositions & Obligation are Recorded
Sup.r Delaware   fs              at the req.t of Coll Ephr Aug.t Herman of Cecil County
                                           September 14.th 1723

Ex.d  Be it Remembred that George Dawkene of New Castle in the said
       county Gent aged about sixty three years being solemnly sworn on the
       holy evangelists of Almighty God Deposeth that on or about the
       Year of Our Lord one thousand seven hundred & eight a Warrant
       of Survey being Discovered by a certain William Houston late of the said
       county Merchant Dated for two Thousand Five hundred acres of land in the
       office of James Claypool Deced late Clerk & Surveyor of the said county
       who at that time had lost the use of his speech and senses which
       warrant belonged to a certain Edward Green late of the said county
       Merchant Deced who Dyed without known Heirs or Relations in this
       countrey And the said warrant by means of the said William Houston
       came into the hands of William Tonge then protonotary of
       this county who made application to this Deponent that they the  
       Said Tonge and Deponent might forge a Deed from him the said
       Edward Green to the said William Houston for the said land which the
       said Deponent utterly refused to comply with but some time afterwards
       to witt in or about the Year of Our Lord One Thousand
