(481 out of his then Lord ships the Lord prop.rys land office a warrant for One Thousand Acres of Land and Thereon had surveyed and laid out for him the said One Thousand Acres of Land As by his said Lordships patent thereof bearing Date the twelfth day of June in the year of our Lord God One Thousand six hundred and eighty eight remaining on Record in his said Lordships land office relation being thereunto had may more plainly and at large appear being thus known and perticularly described That is to say) Lying and being in Baltemore County in the province af.d on the South Side of the head of a River called Bush river And upon the South side of the Main branch of the s.d River called the south west Branch and called and known by the name of Clagetts Forrest Beginning at a bounded ^red^ oak Standing by the said Branch being a bounded Tree of the Land called Gibsons Ridge formerly taken up for Miles Gibson of Baltemore County Gentl and running thence up the said Ridge parallell w.th the s.d Land north north west five hundred perches to the Land called Scott's Lott Thence running West South West Three hundred and Twenty Perches to a Marked red oak on a plain Then running South South East five hundred perches respecting to the east the Land called Burgess's Camp Lastly runing by a Direct Line to the first mentioned bounded Tree containing and laid out for one thousand Acres of Land as af.d More or less And the af.d Thomas Clagett being so Seised and possessed of and in the af.d Tract of land and premises with all their appurtenances &c Did by his last will & Testament in writing bearing Date the Day of In the Year of Our Lord God |
