       and Defend the afd Tract of Land & premisses with
       its appurtenances hereby intended To be Granted from
       all former bargains sales leases titles & incumbrances
       whatsoever unto the said Joseph Howard his heirs and
       assignes for ever (the Rents and Services hereafter
       to grow Due to the Lord Propry Excepted)
       And further that the said Rich.d Fowler & his heirs
       shall and will at the Reasonable Respect Request
       costs and charges in the Law of Him the said
       Joseph Howard at any time within the space
       of seven years next ensueing make Doe acknowledge
       suffer and execute or cause to be so Done all such
       further and other act & acts thing or things
       Devises Conveyances assureances in the Law w.tsoever
       for the Better and more perfect assureance and
       sure makeing all and singular the premisses unto
       him the said Joseph Howard his heirs or assignes
       as By the said Joseph Howard his heirs or assignes
       or his or their Councill Learned in the Law shall be
       Reasonably Devised advised or Required according to the
       true intent & meaning of these presents In Wittness
       whereof the parties to these presents have hereunto interchangeably
       set their hands and affixed their seals the
