398 the River Side being an easterly bounded Tree of a pcell of Land laid out for Samuell Hill and from thence bound.d with the River on the South by a Line Drawn East South East Seventy five perches to a marked red oake standing on a bank by the River being the first bounded Tree of the former Survey And from the Said Red Oak bounded with y.e River And the Maine Branch of the River by a Line drawn East Southerly four hundred & seventy five^ to a marked Red Oak standing by the side of a Branch respecting a Fork of the Branch on the opposite side and running from the said red oak by a line drawn North East five hundred and Thirty five perches And from the end of the North East Line by a Line drawn West North West four hundred and thirty five perches And from the end of the West North West Line with a Streight Line Seven hundred & thirty perches to the first bounded Chesnutt containing & resurveyd for Sixteen hundred & Thirty acres together with all houses plantations Fences and Improvements and all manner of appurtenances to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining two hundred & four acres part thereof out of that corner of the said Tract that lyeth lowest down y.e River Sassafrax af.d allways excepted & foreprized To have and to hold the same land and premises with the appurts except as before excepted unto him the said Thomas Bordley his Heirs and Assigns for ever to the only proper use and behoofe of him the said Thomas Bordley his Heirs and Assigns for ever And to none other use intent & purpose whatsoever And The said Charles Hammond doth hereby for himself his heirs ex.rs & ^adm.rs^ and also for the said Rachel |
