(397 Maryland fs This Indenture made this second day of August Anno Domini seventeen hundred and Twenty two Between Charles Hammond of Ann Arundell County Gent and Rachel his wife lately called Rachel Greenberry of Ann Arundell County in the province of Maryland widow of the one part and Thomas Bordley of the city of Annapolis Esquire of the other part Wittnesseth That the said Charles and Rachel for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and Fifty pounds Sterl to them in hand paid by the said Thomas the Receipt whereof they Do hereby acknowledge and thereof and from every part and parcell thereof do hereby fully and absolutely Acquit Exonerate and Discharge him the said Thomas his Heirs Executors and Adm.rs Have Given granted bargained sold Aliened Enfeoffd and Confirmd And do by these psents for themselves and their heirs give Grant bargain Sell Alien Enfeoffe and Confirm unto him the said Thomas Bordley his Heirs and Assigns for ever All that Tract or Pcell of Land called Painters Rest formerly to witt about the Tenth day of November Anno Dm One Thousand Six Hundred and seventy seven surveyed and afterwards resurveyed for a certain Nicholas Paynter of S.t Marys County lying on the North side of Sassafrax River and Beginning according to the Certificate of Resurvey thereof at a markd Chesnutt Tree standing on a Bank by a Valley Near |
