393) Oak of the Land of James Barnes then with the said Barnes Line East Seventeen Degrees North One Hundred and forty perches Then North West by North One Hundred Seventy perches to the first bounded Tree containing Ninety Eight Acres More or less Together with all houses Outhouses Woods Underwoods Pastures Orchards Gardens Easments profitts comodities and appurtenances to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining as the same was by the Lord proprietary of this province Granted under the Broad Seal of the said province bearing Date the first Day of October Anno Dom 1687 unto the said Adam Shipley Sen.r for the afores.d whole Tract of five hundred acres To have and to hold the af.d Ninety Eight Acres of Land and pmises with their appurts as af.d unto him the said Edmund Benson his Heirs and Assigns for ever ^To the only proper use & behoof of him the said Edmond Benson his Heirs & Assigns for evermore^ And to no other use Intent and Purpose whatsoever And the said Peter Shipley for himself his Heirs Ex.rs and Adm.rs Doth hereby covenant promise and Grant to and with the said Edmund Benson his Heirs and Assigns that he the said Peter Shipley at the time of the Ensealing and Delivery hereof hath in himself good Right full power and lawfull authority to give grant bargain Sell Enfeoff and Confirm the aforesaid Land and premises unto the said Edmond Benson his Heirs and Assigns for ever And that the aforesaid Land and premises at the time of the Ensealing and Delivery hereof is free and clear off and from all and every former Grants Bargains Sales Mortgages and All Other Incumbrances whatsoever And |
