392 Maryland fs This Indenture made the 21.st day of July in the Year of Our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Twenty two Between Peter Shipley of Baltemore County in the Province of Maryland Planter of the one part And Edmund Benson of Annar.ll County & province af.d Planter of the other part Witnesseth that the said Peter Shipley for and in consideration of the sum of Fifty pounds Sterling to him in hand paid At and before the Ensealing & Delivery of these psents The Receipt whereof He doth hereby acknowledge and every therefrom Acquit Exonerate and Discharge the said Edmund Benson his Heirs Ex.rs and Adm.rs by these presents Hath given Granted bargained sold Enfeoffed & Confirmed & by these presents Doth give Grant Bargain Sell Enfeoffe Alienate and Confirm unto the said Edmund Benson his Heirs and Assigns for ever All That Tract or Parcell of Land called (Batchelours Vine Yard) Being part of a Tract of Land containing Two hundred acres called (Adam the First) Formerly laid out for Adam Shipley Sen.r of Ann.ll County Beginning at a Bounded Red Oak being the first Bounded Tree of the Land called Adam the first as aforesaid and Running from the said Red Oak with the Line of the said Land South West by West Sixty Perches Then South four Degrees East one hundred fifty one perches to a bounded branch |
