(36) of Land & Premisses w.th the appurtenances unto the said W.m Smith his heirs & assignes according to the true intent & meening of this p.rsents except a Mortgage made unto ^one^ Perigrine of London Merch.t for one Moyety or half part of the afd Tract of Land w.ch was Morjaged some years past by John Easterling & the af.d Henaretta his Wife And this indenture further Wittnesseth that the said W.m Smith hath Given Granted & Confirmed and by these p.rsents doth Give Grant and confirme fully clearly and absolutely unto Kensey Jones of the City af.d Merchant his heirs and assignes by the speciall Direction & Appointm.t of the s.d Tho.s Howe & Henaretta his Wife they haveing receivd a Valuable consideration of the s.d Kensey Jones for he Land hereafter named expressd more at Large in a Deed of Sale Bearing ^even^ Date w.th these p.rsents Relation being thereunto had will More at Large Appear) in Exchange for the Land before menconed all those two Tracts or Escheat land purchased by the said W.m Smith of the Right Honourable Charles Lord Prop.ry of Maryland &c.a lying in Calvert County laid out for one hundred acres more or less as by Pattent Granted unto the said W.m Smith bearing Date the fourth Day of May one thousand seven hundred & fourteen w.th about two acres of wast Land contained in s.d Pattent Alsoe One More Tract or Parcell of Land lyeing in the county afd (purchased) |
