       According to the Intent & Meaning of this Indenture
       for the better & more sure makeing of the Afore Said Land
       to the said Philip Thomas his heirs & assigns as by his
       or their Councell Shall be advised or Required In
       Wittness whereof the said William Richardson hath
       set his hand & seale the day & year Above Said
       Signed Se^a^led & Delivered         William Richardson  (seal)
          in Presence of                           on the back of the foregoingd
                William Lock                      Conveyance
                Gerrard Hopkins                     was thus Writen
       This seventh day of Oct.r 1721 Came the Within menconed
       Will.m Richardson & Margarett his wife & Did acknowledge
       the Land within Menconed to the within Menconed
       Philip Thomas according to an act of assembly in that
       case made & Provided before me one of his Lord Ships
       Justices of the Prov.ll Court of Maryland
