       heirs & assignes for ever all that Tract or Island
       of Land called Choptanck Island scituate lying &
       being in Talbot County in the province of Maryl.d
       afd on the east side of Chesepeak bay and on
       the North side of the mouth of great Choptanck
       River formerly laid out for and granted to Seth
       Foster of the afd Province of Maryland and by
       the Last Will and Testament of the af.d Seth
       Foster Bequeathed to his Eldest Daughter
       Eliz.a and by the s.d Eliz.a & her Husband W.m
       Coursey bargained and sold unto John Hawkins
       and by the s.d John Hawkins Bargained or sold
       or Mortgaged unto the above menconed John
       Hyde the present granter of the s.d Island
       as by the two severall patents and the conveyances
       thereof Recorded in the prov.l & Talbot
       County Records Recourse being thereunto had
