276 x.d This Indenture made the Ninth day of March Anno Dom 1720 and in the seventh year of the Reigne of our sov.n Lord George by the grace of god of great Brittain France and Ireland King Defender of the faith &c.a Between John Hyde Sen.r of the City of London in the Kingdom of England great Brittain Merch.t of the one part and Mathew Tilghman Ward of Talbot County in the province of Maryland on the continent of America of the other part Wittnesseth that y.e s.d Joh Hyde for and in consideration of the sum of five hundred pounds of Lawfull Money of great Brittain to him in hand already paid well and Truely paid by the s.d Mathew Tilghman Ward the Receipt whereof the s.d John Hyde doth hereby acknowledge and thereof & of every part and percell thereof doth fully clearly and absolutely Acquitt Exonerate & Discharge the s.d Mathew Tilghm.n Ward his heir ex.rs and adm.rs for ever by these presents hath given granted Barganed sold Aliened Enfeoffed Released & Confirmed & by these presents doth Give grant bargaine sell Alien Enfeoff Release (and) |
