26 Ex.d This Indenture made the fifteenth day of September in the fifth year of the Reigne of our sovereigne Lord George by the Grace of God of Great Brittain France & Ireland King Defender of the faith &c.a Annoq Dom 1718 Between John Caswell of London Merchant Executor and Residuary Legatee of the last will and testement of Susannah Lillington deceased late Widdow and Executrix of Roger Lillington late cityzen and cordwainer of London of the one part and Jacob Roberts of Calvert County in the province of Maryland Planter of the other part Witnesseth that the s.d John Caswell for and in consideration of the sume of one hundred fifty & seven pounds of Lawfull Money of Great Brittain to him in hand paid by the said Jacob Roberts at and before the Ensealing & Delivery of these psents the receipt whereof he the said John Caswell doth hereby acknowledge & thereof and there from & of and from every part or parcell thereof ^doth^ Acquit Release and Discharg the said Jacob Roberts his heirs executors administrators and assignes for ever by these psents as alsoe for Divers Other Good and Valuable Causes and Considerations him thereunto ^especially^ Moveing he the said John Caswell hath Granted Bargained Sold Aliened Enfeoffed Released & Confirmed and by thes presents Doth (Fully) |
