237) Maryland fs Know all men by these presents That we Cap.t Isaac Johnson Com.r of the Albany of New York & Benj.a Tasker of Annapolis Merch.t hold and firmly Bound unto the R.t Hon.ble Ch L.d Baron of Bal.t &c.a the full and just sume of one hund.d & fifty pounds sterl to be p.d to his said L.dp his Heirs & successors to the w.ch Payments well and truly to be made and Done we bind our selves our heirs exe.rs & adm.rs and every of them joyntly & sev.rly for and in the whole firmly by these p.rsents sealed with out seals and Dated this 24.th Day of Octob.r Anno 1719 The Condition of the above obligation is such that if the above bound Isaac Johnson shall well and Truely pay the severall Dutys on Tob.o exported being in the whole three shillings and six pence sterl p.r hh.d for every Hh.d of Tob.o expor.td in the said ship this psent voyage & also the Duty of 14.d sterl p ton for every Ton Burthen the said ship gauges att by good and sufficient Bills of Exch.a Drawn on some able Person in Great Brittain and the same To be Duly answered & paid according to the Tenor and Thereof then this Obligation to be void otherwise of force Sealed and Delivered 2½ sides Isaac Johnson (S) in the Presence of Benj.a Tasker (S) James Searll Recorded Jan.ry y.e 9.th 1720 |
