98 William Scorey of London Notary Publick being a person well known and worthy of ^good^ Creditt and did by solemn oath w.ch he took upon the holy evangelist of Almighty God before us then and there solemnly Declare Testifie and depose to be true that he was present and did see Thomas Taillor seal & at his act and deed Deliver a Certain Deed of Indenture bearing date y.e ninth day of Sept.r Anno Dom 1709 now exhibitted unto him the said Depon.t whole and unfaced & uncancelled made between the said Thomas Taillor by the name and addicon of Thomas Taillor Late of the Colony of Maryland in Parts beyond the seas but (then) in Londin in y.e kingdom of Great Brittain Merch.t of the one Part and John Taillor by the name and addicon of John Taillor of Lond.n Merch.t or of the said Thomas Tailor of the other part and that he the said Deponant as a wittness to the said deed did thereupon write and endorse his name and Qualifaction as thereby it doth & may appear And Further the said Deponant saith that the Copy now also exhibitted signed and attested by him the said deponant (w.ch said Copy is here before written) was by him duely examined with the said originall deed & by him found to agree word forword therewith In Faith and Testimony whereof we the said Lord Mayor and aldermen have Caused the seale of the Office of Mayoralty of the said City of London to be hel hereunto put & affixed Dated in London the fifth day of Feb.ry Anna Dom 1711 and in the Tenth year of the Reigne of our Sovereigne Lady Anne Queen of Great Brittain &c.a The Seale of Gibson the mayoralty 1818 |
