94 shall be reasonably devised advised or required Provided always and it is the true Intent and meaning of these presents that in Case the said Charles Beckwith or his assignes shall at or upon the seventh day of November w.ch shall be in y.e Year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and twelve pay or Cause to be paid unto the said Amos Garrett his heires ex.rs or adm.rs the sum of thirty seven pounds eighteen shil and six pence sterl money of Great Brittaine by good bills of exchange to the Likeing of the s.d Amos Garrett drawn on some Responsible Merch.t in London in Great Brittain afd and the said Bills of Exchange be there duly accepted and to the said Amos Garrett or order at Twenty days sight that then this deed every Clause and Article therein and the Estate thereby made to Cease determine & be Void to all Intents and purposes otherwise this deed be and Continue in force & effect as if the provisoe had Never been made In wittness the said party ^have^ hereunto Interchangably sett to their hands and affixed their seales the day & year first above written Signed sealed & deliv.d in psence of us Cha Beckwith (sealed) Jn.o Young Carpenter Earle Jn.o Cook At y.e foot of y.e afd mortgage was thus written Viz.t Annapolis Maryland 9.th of Aprill 1712 Then Came the above named Charles Beckwith before me W.m Holland Chief Justice of the prov.ll Court and acknowledged the above Land &c.a & premises to be the right of Amos Garrett & acknowledged y.e above deed to y.e s.d lands according to act of Assembly in that Case made & provided Recorded up May y.e 15.th 1712 W.m Holland 919 These are to require you to enter satisfaction of the Judgm.t I obtained last prov.ll Court against Thomas Tolley on a protested bill of Exch.a for ten pounds five shillings ster and Damages and this shall be your warr.t Aug.t y.e 6.th 1711 To Wornell Hunt Esq.r or Christopher [illegible] M.r John Beale Clk This Indenture made the ninth day of September Anno Dom 1709 and in the Eighth year of the Reigne of Queen Anne over great Brittaine &c.a Between Thomas Taillor late of the Colony of Maryland in parts beyond the seas but now of London in the (Kingdom) |
