       This Indenture made this seventh day of November In the Tenth
       Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lady Anne Queen of Great Brittain &c.a
       Annoq Domini One Thousand Seven Hundred and Eleven Between Charles
       Beckwith of S.t Marys County Shipwright of the one part and Amos Garrett
       of the City of Annapolis in the Province of Maryland Merchant of the other
       part Wittnesseth that the said Charles Beckwith for and in Concideration
       of Thirty seven pounds Eighteen Shillings and six pence sterl to him in
       hand paid by the said Amos the receipt whereof the said Charles Beckwith
       doth hereby acknowledge and thereof doth fully discharge the said Amos
       his heirs Ex.rs and Adm.rs Hath bargained unto him the said Amos Garrett all
       those two severall percells of Land being part of a Certain Tract of Land
       Containing about five thousand seven hundred Acres called
       Lying near Chesipeak Bay and at or Near S.t Jerums and Originally taken up  
       by Cap.t W.m Hawley and Lying in S.t Marys County one of the parts
       aforesaid being that percell of Land whereon the said Charles Beckwith
       now liveth and Containeth Two hundred Acres or thereabouts
       the other part being a percell of the said Great Tract heretofore purchased
       by W.m Guither from Thomas Williams and by the said Guither made over
       to the said Beckwith known by the Name of hogg Neck Containing likewise
       two hundred Acres more or less with all and singular the appurtenances
       to the same or to any of them belonging as also three Negro Slaves Jack aged
       about Twenty Eight years Issabell aged about twelve years and Katherine
       aged about one year and also sixteen head Cattle viz.t of Cows heiffers steers
       and a bull none under a year old being all the said Charles Beckwiths
       Cattle on the plantation Called                        Markt a Crop the right
       ear and a Swallow forke The Left and also Twenty seven old sheep and
       Ten Lambs Memorandum pte of y.e above said was formerly
       Conveyd and made over ^un^to the Charles Carroll and Amos Garrett for about
       one hundred pounds sterl advanced the s.d Charles Beckwith being
       markt as afd               & if any of the s.d Live Creatures shoud Dye or be
       Left before Drove of the s.d Plantation by y.e s.d Amos Garretts order he y.e
       s.d Charles Beckwith hereby obliges himself heirs ex.rs or adm.rs to make other
