73) This Indenture made the thirtyeth day of May one thousand seven hundred & Eleven Between John Holland of Ann.ll County Inholder and James Carroll of the said County Gent Wittnesseth that the said John Holland for and in Consideration of the sume of fifteen pounds nineteen shill & three pence sterl to him in hand paid by the said James the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge and doth for ever discharge exonerate & acquitt the said James his ex.rs and adm.rs from the said sume hath Given Granted bargained & sold as by these presents he the said John Holland doth for himself and his heires Give Grant bargaine sell alien Enfeoffe Confirm & make over unto the said James his heires & assignes two Lotts of Ground the one in Queen Anns Town in Pri^n^ce Georges County where Richard Lancaster Kept store the other at Lond.n Town where John Carpinter keepeth store togeather with all the Improvments and Conveniencies on them or either of them w.th all & singular y.e plank or other Timbers & such on the said Lotts or either of them To have and To hold the said two Lotts & premises unto him the said James his heires and assignes for ever to the only proper use & behoofe of him the said James and to no other use or purpose whatsoever And the said John doth for himself and his heires Covenant and agree to and with the said James his heires and assignes that he the said John & his heires shall & will for ever hereafter warrant & & defend the s.d two Lotts of Ground and premises unto him the said James his heires & assignes against all Manner of Persons Claimes & Intanglem.ts w.tsoever And that he the said John shall deliver unto him the said James his heires or assignes faire Cert.s and such other Instrum.ts in wrighting as shall be needfull to shew his title to the said Lotts In Testimony w.rof the parties to these presents have Interchangably set to their hands & affixed their seales y.e day & year above written Jn.o Holland (seale) her Sealed & d.d in psence of us Elinor X Glue mark M.ll Tully On the back of the said deed was thus endorst Oct.r y.e 5.th 1711 Then before me Jn.o Holland & acknowledged y.e w.thin deed according to Law Phile Loyd Just provin recorded Oc.t 15.th 1711 |
